SUMMARY:Inspired by History
DESCRIPTION:Opening Reception with the Artists: Thursday\, August 1\, 6 – 8 p.m. \nOur everyday objects may not be so ordinary when seen through the eyes of an artist. Using abstraction\, manipulation and interpretation\, local emerging and mid-career artists created works in response to objects from the Chandler Museum artifact collection. The exhibit considers memory\, continuity and change over time through artworks that explore the connections between people and objects. \nThis is a collaborative exhibition at The Chandler Museum. \nImage: (Right) Carrie Marill\, Packed\, 2018\,  linen and acrylic on panel – inspired by the historic valise from the Chandler Museum Collection (left) \nExhibiting Artists: \nDavid Adams\, Anthony Banayat\, Malena Barnhart\, Laura Spalding Best\, Andrea Cook\, Lauren Copley\, Ashley Czajkowski\, Erika Hanson\, Sarah Hurwitz\, Saskia Jorda\, Lauren Kelly\, Megan Koth\, Nicole Lee\, Cydnei Mallory\, Carrie Marill\, Jacob Meders\, Amanda Mollindo\, Adam Montoya\, Ann Morton\, Diane Nowicki\, Jessica Palomo\, Rembrandt Quiballo\, Melissa Sclafani\, Champ Styles\, Such Styles\, Brianna Voron\, Claire Warden. \nRSVP

SUMMARY:Karolina Adams: Work in Progress
DESCRIPTION:Opening Reception with the Artist: Saturday\, October 12\, 6 – 8 p.m. \nPart window\, part mirror\, Karolina Adams’ drawings show us her thoughts\, emotions\, and reactions to them with relatable insight that may give viewers a better understanding of their own inner psychology.
