As the pandemic gripped the nation in 2020, people of all different backgrounds searched for ways to safely venture out of the house and take a break from the pressures of daily life. In Take a Hike, the Chandler Galleries invited artists to share their appreciation and experiences of hiking the myriad trails across Arizona and further afield.

Inspired by our current exhibition, Take a Hike, stop by Vision Gallery on Saturday, July 17 from 11am - 1pm to make a clay cactus! Practice your sculpting techniques to make a variety of succulent shapes. All supplies provided, all ages welcome.
