Chandler Unified School District’s most gifted artists put their work on display for the community to experience in this annual showcase. The burgeoning artists from Basha, Hamilton, Perry, Arizona College Prep (ACP), Casteel, and Chandler high schools display their talents and viewpoints through ceramics, paintings, drawings, sculptures, jewelry, and photographs. With nearly 100 works on display, there is always something for everyone in this exhibition.  

Learn the basics of creative lettering to create your own eye-catching signage! Conceptualize what you want your sign to say, work with our professional sign artist to develop your preferred fonts and sign composition, then write away! Whether you prefer bold swoops and swirls, thick blocky letters, classic serifs, or want to create your own font, all styles are welcome. At the end of class, you’ll leave with your own display-worthy chalkboard sign! Led by Aimee Ollinger. The temperature is rising! What’s better to cool you down than a stylish accessory? Make your own handheld fan out of paper and popsicle sticks to keep you cool all summer long. Summer is here! Stop by Vision Gallery to have a roarin’ good time creating your own dinosaur visor out of foam shapes and googly eyes. Bats, rats, gnats, oh my! From the creepy to the crawly, this open call exhibition invited Arizona based artists to submit work of animals that are often deemed Unlovable by the general public. Artists were encouraged to reimagine these creatures through unique perspectives, whether by emphasizing their beauty, strangeness, resilience or symbolic power. With artwork ranging from arachnoids to marsupials, these misunderstood animals will be sure to delight and fright folks of all ages.
