🎨 Our 30th annual Art Quilts exhibition, "Art Quilts 30: Palette Cleanser" celebrates the beauty of minimalism and encourages simplicity, clarity, and timelessness to create powerful, thought-provoking pieces.

With the constant onslaught of news media around us, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from the world. As a respite from these intense narratives, exploring minimalism through art offers a refreshing "Palette Cleanser", inviting us to reflect on simplicity in a chaotic world.

practice. The artists in Palette Cleanser use intentional forms and colors that invite

🎨 Emily Spetrino's work in "So Fun!" is a site-specific assemblage installation composed of second-hand beads, plastic canvases, yarn, vintage quilts, pom-poms, plastic chains, and a growing collection of found materials 🧶🤩🧚‍♀️

🍄Rooted in the language of craft, this work explores the historic dismissal of decorative, domestic, or "non-serious" art practices - especially those associated with female adolescence and women's labor ⭐️🌈 This installation embraces untraditional art materials not typically found in traditional art spaces as a way to welcome audiences and encourage them to see themselves reflected in the work 👁
