Inspired by our current exhibition, Take a Hike, stop by Vision Gallery on Saturday, July 17 from 11am - 1pm to make a clay cactus! Practice your sculpting techniques to make a variety of succulent shapes. All supplies provided, all ages welcome.

Grown-ups, it's time to stretch those creative muscles! This August, learn a variety of fun watercolor techniques as you paint sights and sounds from nature. Scientist and artist Courtney Currier will lead this class for students ages 18+.

Through the lens of Western fairytale characters, this fantastical exhibition explores her journey from surviving to thriving in Chandler, Arizona.

At the City of Chandler, we are fortunate to have myriad multi-talented individuals working all around us. While many of our coworkers’ skills are visible in the office, some talents are not as obvious. Off the Clock celebrates the artistic talents of our fellow City employees!

Remarkable Presence is an art installation by Jen Urso taking place at multiple locations across the Valley of small, numbered paper suitcases representing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Arizona.

Experiment with powdered charcoal and alcohol ink! Miguel Angel Godoy will be leading a drawing class at the Chandler Museum for kids age 6 - 16 in conjunction with his exhibition Abstracting Identity at the Chandler Center for the Arts.

Stop by the terrace at the Chandler Center for the Arts for some outside, masked up, community chalk coloring with artist Christopher Jagmin!

Stop by the Sleepy Whale on Thursday, Oct 21 from 5 to 7pm to grab a drink and create your own fantastical creature from fusible Perler Beads! This is a free event, all ages welcome.

On October 23, kids age 6-16 can join "Abstracting Identity" artist Miguel Angel Godoy for a special class all about hip-hop, movement, and most importantly, break dancing. Free to attend!
